Have you written a text or received a written text or translation from someone else? That is a good start.
But before publishing or printing this text, you should ensure its absolute accuracy in terms of language, grammar, and terminology. Even the most experienced copy writer does not recognize his mistake after reading his own text over and over. The four-eye-principle often helps in detecting grave mistakes, but it never substitutes for professional proofreading.
Newsletter or other communication, your website, brochures, or academic work, mistakes are always terribly embarrassing and can hurt your reputation and success.
This service is available as needed, or as an optional extra with any translation project.
We prepare documents using the "track changes" function within Microsoft Word. This function allows you to move easily between changes, and accept any or all modifications proposed by the proofreader. Corrections, suggestions and comments are shown in the margins, and are easily integrated into your final document.
During the proofreading process, particular attention will be given to typos and grammatical errors, style consistency, formatting, and term accuracy - with constant reference to the original document.
Please note that if the proofreader requires the document to be re-written, due to a particularly poorly-written text and it then becomes a completely new translation, we reserve the right to apply translation rates for that project.
